Not Even A Moose -- Nancy Kay

Not Even A Moose

Federal Wildlife Officer Michael Donovan faces a dilemma. Christmas is days away, a blizzard looms, and Mike must either track an escaped moose, or deliver bad news about her Grandfather to Samantha Gates.

Samantha is determined to reach her grandparent's cabin for Christmas. She'll soon be off to Veterinary School, following in Grandpa Gates footsteps, and this holiday is special. Hampered by driving snow, Sam ditches her SUV avoiding an injured moose. Mike discovers her aiding the wounded animal and together they get the ungainly patient to shelter. But as Sam doctors the moose, the blizzard traps them.

Alone inside the remote cabin, attraction sizzles between Sam and Mike. Outside danger escalates. Sam insists all will be fine by Christmas. Mike isn't so sure. Will the storm end and bring a Christmas miracle? Or will Mike's news ruin the holiday and their chance for a future together?

A heartwarming Christmas story.
Nancy Kay has a winner with this heartwarming Christmas novel. I live in Erie, PA and let me tell you after the Christmas snow storm we had this year, I can relate how it feels to be overwhelmed. I’m sitting here today, (several weeks after Christmas) reading and enjoying this novel. Sam and Mike were adorable. You just want everything to work out for them. I’ve read everyone of Nancy’s novels. She never disappoints me.

A heartwarming Christmas read
Michael and Samantha are stranded along with an injured moose during a blizzard.
They work together to save the moose.
Chemistry and attraction builds between these two the longer they are together. When they act on that attraction it is pretty sizzling.
I loved reading about each of their family holiday traditions. I absolutely love Christmas romances. They just seem more heartwarming. This one doesn't disappoint.

Heartwarming story
Enjoyable read. This could be a Hallmark movie. Nancy Kay has a way of bringing the characters to life and draws the reader in. I did not want this story to end.
